"Beautiful Redemption"
by Kari L. Orloff
I stood at the foot of the mountain.
Few words.
Shocked. Lost. Broken.
I looked up.
Steep.
After the fire came a gentle whisper.
Just breathe.
I took one step.
Believe.
Another step.
Narrow Road.
Step.
For I know the plans I have for you.
Step.
I will restore you.
Step.
You are essential.
Step.
You are chosen.
Step.
You are set apart.
Step.
There are more with us than those who are with them.
Step.
I am doing something new.
Step.
I am making a way in the wilderness.
Step.
You are a light.
Step.
I will fight for you.
Step.
Do not be afraid.
Step.
I go before you.
Step.
You are not alone.
Step.
I will hear you when you call to me.
Step.
I will do immeasurably more than you ask or imagine.
Step.
I hold your right hand.
Step.
I am close to the broken hearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.
Step.
It is I you must follow.
Step.
I will teach you what to do.
Step.
There is nothing too hard for me.
Step.
The battle is not yours.
Step.
Even youths grow tired and weary.
Step.
I will strengthen and help you.
Step.
I have called you.
Step.
When I act, who can reverse it?
Step.
My purpose will stand.
Step.
I will teach you what is best for you and direct you in the way you should go.
Step.
I will never leave you.
Step.
I am still on the mountain.
There is only one Voice leading me.
